Uncategorized Much of last week and all of today, has been spent filling orders. Items manufactured in the last week include Walking Liberty Deans Sets & Flippers, expanded shells of several kinds, some soft Morgan Deans Sets, and quite a few 3CM’s. Once the final touchups are done today, a new run of SuperFly will begin. We just shipped out several CSB sets, so if you had any orders for those they are on the way. I am hoping to have the shopping cart figured out by the end of this week, and hope to go live with it by next month. I’ll keep these updates coming as time permits!

Well the new site is finally up and running! I am hoping to finish up the new shopping cart within a couple of weeks, and then we will make the mobile site live. If you are wanting to place any orders while waiting for the new shopping cart to go live, be sure to simply use the old site. I am hoping to make time to post more often to this blog, which as you can see from the last time I posted, has been neglected much more than I have wanted.

Uncategorized With only six days left until MagicLive! and the launch of SuperFly, things are getting exciting! The DVD is complete, the first run of gimmicks is done, and the excitement has been building! I hope everyone has as much fun with this gimmick as I have. It’s like performing 3-Fly with cruise control. This gimmick actually makes doing the routine a lot more fun! It’s looking like the first run of gaffs will be a little limited so be sure to get to my booth on Sunday to reserve your gaffs then. It already sounds like they will be sold out on the first day of the convention. I am currently setting up the next run of gaffs to fill any orders that are taken after the first batch sells out. I will also do my best to update everyone more frequently here on my blog as new things happen. Until next time everyone take care!

Just recently made a few updates to the “What’s New” page at www.coingaffs.com. There is news about Super-Fly, as well as some upcoming website stuff. I will be extremely busy for the next two weeks while I prepare for MagicLive! And I am going to be making a harder effort to update this blog a little more frequently than I have. More than likely after MagicLive! things should calm down a bit for me, and then I should be able to implement a lot of the new things everyone has been patiently waiting for. Your best bet for the most current happenings here at Schoolcraft Precision, would be to regularly check the “What’s New” page. As I expect to make most of my update through that page and my blog. Uncategorized It’s hard to believe the last blog entry was in May. So much for finding my time. Anyhow, I do plan on making a better effort on keeping up to date with my blog. The new coingaffs website is coming, and will possibly happen in a few stages. And perhaps the biggest news is the upcoming launch of Chris Kenner’s “SuperFly”. Uncategorized For me sometimes the key to making new gaffs is very simple. It’s just finding the time to make the gimmicks while keeping up with the current workload. Well eu h a simple thing is not easy. But I have definitely come to realize it’s definitely something I just have to do. Projects like this blog, the iPhone version of my site, a new online shopping experience and more would not even be possible if I didn’t follow my new rule of just “finding your time”. Uncategorized A current trend in coingaffs seems to be steel inserts and shims. Why not. With the bonding process we use, and the availability of super strong neo-magnets absolute miracles are much easier for the working coin magician. Steel cores and shims are a great choice to add to most common gaffs that already exist. Copper/Silver, Shells, Copper/Silver/Brass, Flippers (ours come standard with a steel core), and even Sun/Moon inserts. Steel mainly adds to the ease of ditching and retrieving the gimmicks. The ability to bring gaffs into play and ditch when done easily is an awesome tool. Play with shimming your shells, and request the shimming of gimmicks that already require bonding. It wouldn’t hurt to have the option when you need it even if you currently do not have a use for the shim, since it’s easy to insert during the construction of the gaff. Keep in mind these are limited quantity gaffs, that will be sold on a first come, first served basis. The exact gimmick, and quantity will be released in the days to come. Well the first shipment of Crowns has arrived. I will be organizing and putting them into various gaffed sets in the upcoming weeks. I am expecting quite a few more shipments soon, but this is the first big one to finally arrive. There is quite a variety of the crowns, so I am unsure what we will be producing first, if you guys have specific requests let us know. We have 3 custom minted coins that will be here sometime this summer, along with that exciting news we will be producing at least two more DVD’s, which will be sold with the necessary gaffed coins. Keep checking back, as the progress is moving forward, and we will have more site updates very soon!!

For those of you that weren’t already aware my blog is now iPhone friendly! It now has a “web-app” feel when viewed on an iPhone or even an iPod Touch. If you add it to your homescreen there is even a cool custom icon for the button. The iPhone version of the main site is actually under construction and has some really cool features for all you Apple junkies like me.
